Overview
My playing is rooted in the heavy progressive styles, but my tastes in music have varied over the years. my goal was to pursue several styles of music and adapt a more aggressive style of playing to these styles without losing site of my strong points.
I have been playing drums since 1980. Over the years my efforts have been most concentrated in the areas of independence and time, and rounding out my knowledge of varied styles of music. I am very proficient at performing sequenced music and have developed a unique style of crossing over the funk and groove lines with a more aggressive style.
Advanced Drum Grooves was released as an international project, printed in English and Japanese for release in several countries. I was also the featured drummer on Bass Technique with Tony Smith, Chord Structure with Tom Colb, and Guitar Rhythms with Rick Plunket. All of which are International Releases on Starlicks Video, produced by Mark Freed.
